I took my first yoga class in 1991. I still remember waking up to the soft sound of a bell after dozing off in final relaxation. In the middle of a busy school schedule, that moment of deep rest was exactly what I needed. It was my first experience of what I would later come to know as Yoga Nidra — conscious rest — and it planted a seed that has grown ever since.
In 2011, I completed a 200-hour teacher training in Rishikesh, India with World Conscious Yoga Family (now Akhanda Yoga Institute). I’ve found a special love for guiding restorative yoga classes and Yoga Nidra sessions. I’ve been so inspired by the people I work with — their stories, resilience, and openness to exploring new ways of healing and resting.
Yoga Nidra has become a central part of what I offer. It’s more than just deep relaxation — it’s a gentle yet powerful practice that helps calm the nervous system, release stored tension, and reconnect you to your inner clarity. Whether you're recovering from stress, burnout, chronic pain, or simply want to feel more grounded and present, Yoga Nidra can offer you a place to land.
Since my initial training, I’ve completed an additional 300 hours of teacher training, along with specialized studies in restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra, pranayama, meditation, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). I’m also currently enrolled in an 800-hour Yoga Therapy Certification program.
I love holding space for people to find comfort — whether through movement, stillness, or deep rest. My work is about helping you reconnect with your own inner North Star: that steady awareness within you that can guide you home, again and again.
I look forward to meeting you, hearing your story, and supporting you on your journey toward rest, recovery, and renewal.
